The Darimo Nexum handlebar, the latest innovation in lightweight handlebars for road bikes with integrated stem. Weighing 220g in a 420mm handlebar width and 100mm stem length, it's made of carbon fiber with a unique combination of fabrics that prioritize weight, strength, and stiffness without compromising safety. Each layer of fiber is hand-placed to maximize strength-to-weight ratio. Designed with a 31.8mm diameter, it offers comfort on long rides with a flat top and cable grooves for brakes and shifting. Available in different sizes and finishes, it's safe for riders up to 110 kg. Ideal for road, gravel, and CX. Also available in Di2 version and customizable to fit your needs.

Description

General Features:

The latest in lightweight handlebars for your road bike, the Darimo Nexum handlebar sets a new standard with a weight of 220 grams in a 420mm handlebar width and 100mm stem length.

The handlebar is entirely made of carbon fiber, with an exclusive combination of bidirectional and unidirectional fabrics oriented to achieve the best weight-resistance-stiffness ratio while never compromising safety. The proper arrangement of fiber layers has been achieved through finite element calculations and destructive tests.

This type of laminate can only be achieved with a completely handmade construction, with the carbon layers hand-placed in each handlebar, with a different number and arrangement of layers at each point to maximize strength-to-weight ratio.

The central area of the handlebar merges with the stem body, maintaining a lightweight and elegant appearance. This integrated design provides increased rigidity and energy transmission efficiency, resulting in better performance on your road rides. Furthermore, its carbon fiber construction ensures an optimal combination of strength and lightness. A cutting-edge handlebar for demanding cyclists.

The top is flat for increased comfort during long rides, and the bottom features external grooves for brake and shift cable routing.

Dimensions: Currently available in widths of 360-380-400-420-440mm, measured center to center. In a "compact" shape, it has a 77mm reach and 128mm drop.
Stem Length: Currently, only -6º angled stems are available in lengths of 70-80-90-100-110-120-130mm.
Finish: There are four possible finishes with a combination of Gloss or Matte, bidirectional (3k) or unidirectional. The Unidirectional version, only in the central part, adds about 8 grams in weight.
Weight Limit: The Darimo handlebar is safe and exceeds the tests of ISO 4210, making it suitable for a combined weight (bike, rider, luggage) of up to 110 kg. For riders weighing over 90kg, we recommend the reinforced version for increased rigidity.
Usage: Road, gravel, CX.
Di2 Version: There is a possibility, on demand, to manufacture the handlebar with holes for internal routing of Di2 electronic shift cables. In this case, specify the location of the holes. This option adds weight, depending on the number of holes, as those areas need reinforcement.
