Description

The Darimo Nexum Drag integrated handlebar is designed with an improved aerodynamic shape, maintaining the lightness that our products are known for, weighing only 245 g for a 400 mm C-C and a 120 mm stem.

The handlebar is made entirely of carbon fiber, with an exclusive combination of bidirectional and unidirectional fabrics.

The correct arrangement of the fiber layers has been achieved through finite element calculations and destructive testing. Thanks to our iterative trial-and-error process, we have improved the product's rigidity and safety without affecting its final weight.

Like all our products, this architectural grade laminate is only possible through completely artisanal manufacturing, where each layer is placed by hand and precisely adjusted for each handlebar. The number and orientation of the layers varies in each area to optimize rigidity, absorption, and resistance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

  • WEIGHT LIMIT 90KG If you need your handlebar to be reinforced, select this option in the handlebar specifications before purchasing. Please note that this modification will increase the weight.
  • ROUTING COMPATIBILITY Our handlebars are designed by default for complete cable integration in the most common systems. The holes for routing cables near the brake levers have a diameter of 10 mm to facilitate cable passage. The cables can exit in front of the head tube or inside it. In both cases, holes are made to allow them to pass through without difficulty. It is possible to route the cables outside the frame by drilling holes in the central area of the handlebar (as shown in the image below).

  • CYCLE COMPUTER MOUNTS The Nexum Drag is designed for computer mounts with two screws that allow you to adjust the distance between the computer and the handlebars. We have adapter plugs for Garmin and Wahoo. All brands compatible with the above can be used with our adapters.

  • STEERING TUBE ADAPTERS
    1. For head tubes with a D-shaped cross-section (not round), you will need to specify the model in the comments field so that we can supply you with the internal part that completes the head tube, thus ensuring that the stem bolts are tightened correctly. In this configuration, a hole will be made on the inside of the stem facing the head tube.
    2. For frames with integrated cabling, our design department has created adapters for most current models. If you choose our handlebars, you must select the correct adapter plug model in order to install the handlebars.
  • Di2 HOLES The following image describes all the predefined options for where Di2 holes can be made. If you require positions other than those predefined, please indicate this in the order comments.
